2026 Tennis Seniors National Teams Carnival - Gold Coast, Queensland

Teams Week : 4-9 January 2026

Individuals : 11-16 January 2026

Various venues across the Gold Coast.

 

We are calling for nominations to represent South Australia at the Tennis Seniors Australia National Teams Carnival on the Gold Coast, Queensland from January 4th to January 9th 2026.

The event offers the opportunity to play against teams in your age group from other States/Territories and othre countries.  The carnival is open to all South Australian players aged 30+ as of 31 December 2026, with teams in 5-year age groups.

Teams usually comprise 5-8 players, with 4 required for each round, 8 matches during the week.  Players may choose to get a few friends together and enter as a team or you may prefer to enter as an individual and be placed in a team.  All players need to fill out an individual nomination form.  Please click here for the form and other information.

The South Australian State Dinner is on Tuesday, 6 January.  since it's included in your entry fee, it is highly encouraged you attend.  It is a fun night and a great opportunity to meet your team members.  It would be great if South Australia could support Tennis Seniors Queensland and attend the Opening Ceremony on Sunday 4 January and if you like a dinner/dance, the Presentation Dinner, Friday 9 January.  Links to purchase tickets for these events are on the nomination form.

ACCOMODATION

Tennis Seniors Queensland have recommended some accomodation options if you need some assistance in find a place to play.  Please click here to see them.

You will be invoiced for a payment of $215 per person once teams have been established and your nomination is confirmed.

Introduction

Tennis Seniors South Australia (TSSA) is the state administrator for Tennis Seniors 30+ in collaboration with four Regional/Country Tennis Seniors associations.

Our shared primary aim is to promote Tennis 30+ participation in South Australia through providing a range of activities.

Activities conducted at TSSA's South Park Centre include: weekly  Social Play/Open Court  Sessions; running TSSA Weekly Competitions (Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles & Mixed Doubles); and offering opportunities to play in Tournaments /Carnivals & Events conducted by TSSA, or supported by TSSA.

 

 

Membership 

Current financial members receive annual renewal notices.

NEW, and current members who have changed personal details or are returning to the club after a break of membership, need to complete a TSSA Membership Application or TSSA Membership Renewal form and forward to our TSSA Membership Officer (details on the forms). 

Match Results & Ladders

You can view match results via your Personal Dashboard that will be set up for you upon Registering in Tennis Australia's  MATCH CENTRE

Once you are registered you will only need to Log In each time via the Match Centre webpage.
