Tennis
Our main aim in collaboration with the Regional/Country Tennis Seniors associations is to promote Tennis Seniors participation in South Australia.
TSSA Social Play & Weekly Competitions
At our South Park Tennis Seniors Centre that is located in the parklands opposite 118 Greenhill Rd, UNLEY, you can play in one of our weekly Social Play/Open Court sessions, or become involved in our Weekly Competitions.
Matches in TSSA conducted competitions and Social Play/Open Court sessions require All Players to comply with TSSA’s Tennis Etiquette & Rules for Non-Umpired Matches.
Tennis Seniors 30+ Tournaments
A large number of Tennis 30+ tournaments/carnivals are now played in Australia each year.
Tennis Seniors competitions are divided into five-year age groups starting at 30 years and tournaments/carnivals comprise a mixture of round-robin and knock-out type of events.
Tennis Seniors SA is affiliated with Tennis Seniors Australia (TSA) who collate the information from each state and territory regarding the tournaments/carnivals that each state/territory is conducting and then produce a pamphlet that is placed on TSA's Tennis Seniors Tournaments webpage, with the most recent Tournament Calendar being the 2022 Tennis Seniors Australia Tournament Calendar.
To enter an ITF (International Tennis Federation) approved Australian Tournament you will need to have registered for an IPIN (International Player Identification Number). Registration and/or renewal of an IPIN is free. However, players will need to pay an IPIN fee (AUD 9) before their first match for each tournament. Click onto the following link that will take you to our dedicated ITF sub webpage that provides relevant links to ITF webpages for tennis players 30+ seeking to compete in ITF tournaments on the international circuit.
Australian Seniors Championships
