1971
The Association was initiated in November 1971 when John P. YOUNG of Victoria asked John MEHAFFEY from South Australia to try and muster players over 45 years of age with a view to starting a SA Division of Veteran’s Tennis
1972
The Veterans' Lawn Tennis Club of Australia – S.A. Division was formally established on Tuesday 12 December 1972
1974
Women’s events were introduced for the first time
1980
Association became affiliated with the SA Tennis Association
1982
Name “Veterans’ Tennis Club of South Australia” was adopted & night team competitions introduced
1986
Australasian Carnival held in Adelaide using the lawn courts at Memorial Drive, Kensington Gardens, Adelaide Oval, and Keswick & Wayville
Need for a Veterans Tennis Headquarters in SA was first identified
First edition of SA-VET published
1987
Inaugural SA State Veterans' Championships held in Adelaide
1988
Tennis Seniors SA Association became an Incorporated Body
Northern Areas Tennis Seniors Association and Riverland Tennis Seniors Association were established
1989
Association hosted 2nd Australian Masters Games in Adelaide in conjunction with its SA Veterans' Championships
1990
South-East Tennis Seniors Association established
1992
Minimum age for membership lowered to 35, from the original 45
1993
Murray Bridge and District Tennis Seniors Association established
1994
Australasian Tennis Veterans' Championships held in Adelaide
1995
South Park Hockey & Tennis Centre established (hockey field or 12 tennis courts plus pavilion)
2008
Courts 1-6 developed on former bowling greens and Tennis Seniors SA and Adelaide Hockey Club took over the lease of the former bowling club rooms
Hockey field's tennis courts became courts 7-18
2009
Australian Tennis Seniors Championships held in Adelaide
2017
Australian Tennis Seniors Championships held in Adelaide
2019
South Park Seniors Tennis Centre hosted 17th Australian Masters Games that were held in Adelaide
2020
