The Victorian Government has recently announced some relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions, so from 11:59pm on Friday 25 February 2022, the following rules apply for venues like Oakleigh Tennis Club (as conveyed to us by Monash Council’s Recreation Team):

  • No restrictions on the number of people who can go into the pavilion/club rooms.
  • Masks will not be required indoors or outdoors for community sport participation.
  • Masks are not required for hospitality services.
  • Marks are required for workers or volunteers when providing hospitality services i.e. working in the canteen.
  • Check in via the services Victoria app is still required for food and beverage services as canteens fall under hospitality directives (but not to simply play tennis or enter the pavilion).

Although the restrictions have been relaxed, we encourage players and other visitors to Oakleigh Tennis Club to maintain personal hygiene and distancing measures, and to take whatever actions they feel necessary to keep them as safe as possible as the pandemic continues.
