** PLEASE NOTE THAT MEMBERSHIP APPROVALS ARE NEITHER IMMEDIATE NOR AUTOMATIC ***
Before membership applications can be approved, membership payments must become visible in the club's bank account and be manually matched with applications. This process is performed by volunteers and can take up to 14 days to complete.
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ ALL THE MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS BELOW AND SELECT THE ONE APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR NEEDS.
PLEASE NOTE:- Some applications may require proof of eligibility. If you believe you are eligible, please go through the joining and payment process and email Rick Odgers at otctreasurer3166@gmail.com an image of the required documentation or take a photo and text it to 0407 456 067.
You can also present your documentation to Vikki Mount at one of the Monday, Wednesday, Friday morning, or Saturday afternoon social tennis sessions. Please text or leave a voice message for Vikki on 0412 449 811 if you require this service.
Memberships
#1 - 2024/25 - FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
1/12/2023 - 30/06/2025
A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP is a discounted membership package available to members of the same immediate family with one or two ADULT parents/guardians and any number of their children who would normally qualify for JUNIOR or STUDENT membership.
Eligibility: Up to 2 parent members plus all of their children who qualify for junior or student membership.
#2 -2024/25 - ADULT (18+) MEMBERSHIP
1/12/2023 - 30/06/2025
ADULT MEMBERSHIP is for everyone who is 18 years of age (or over) at the start of the financial year (July 1).
Eligibility: No restrictions, but note that other membership categories may be more applicable and affordable.
#3 - 2024/25- JUNIOR (child <18) MEMBERSHIP
1/12/2023 - 30/06/2025
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP is a reduced-rate membership for children who are under 18 years of age at the start of the financial year (July 1).
Eligibility: You must be under 18 years of age at the start of the financial year (July 1).
#4 - 2024/25 - STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
1/12/2023 - 30/06/2025
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP is a reduced-rate membership for full-time students who are 18 years of age (or over), but under 26 years of age at the start of the financial year (July 1).
Eligibility: APPLICATION APPROVAL REQUIREMENT:- Please email an image of your Student Identification Card to otctreasurer3166@gmail.com or by text with your name to 0407-456-067.
#5 - 2024/25 - 70+ / PENSIONER / CCCH MEMBERSHIP
1/12/2023 - 30/06/2025
70+ / PENSIONER / CCCH MEMBERSHIP is a reduced-rate membership to encourage over-70's players to take up or keep playing tennis, or to make membership more affordable for Pensioners and Commonwealth Concession Card (CCC) Holders.
Eligibility: APPLICATION APPROVAL REQUIREMENT:- Please email image of Driver’s Licence or other ID to prove you are 70+ or, if applicable, your Pensioner Card or Commonwealth Concession Card to otctreasurer3166@gmail.com or text with your name to 0407-456-067.
~7 - 2024/25 - PARENT (voting rights) MEMBERSHIP
1/12/2023 - 30/06/2025
PARENTS of JUNIOR MEMBERS are asked to register (FREE) as PARENT MEMBERS.
Eligibility: Your voting & committee rights are valid for as long as one of your children is a junior member of the club. NOTE: No playing rights.
~8 - 2024/25 - SOCIAL (non-playing) MEMBERSHIP
1/12/2023 - 30/06/2025
SUPPORTER / SOCIAL (NON-PLAYING) MEMBERSHIP is for anyone who does NOT wish to play tennis any more, but would like to continue their links with the club, show their support and continue to be informed about the club's progress.
Eligibility: NOTE: This is a no-cost membership, but it has no playing rights and no voting rights.
New VTA Tennis Class Participant - Junior
6 weeks membership
Every NEW Junior who is COACHED or does any other activity (with fees payable to VTA) must register as a New VTA Tennis Class Participant - Junior. If still a VTA participant after 6 weeks, they must become a financial club member.
Eligibility: All NEW Junior VTA participants (0-18 years of age).
New VTA Tennis Class Participant - Senior
6 weeks membership
Every NEW Adult who is COACHED or does any other activity (with fees payable to VTA) must register as a New VTA Tennis Class Participant - Senior. If still a VTA participant after 6 weeks, they must become a financial club member.
Eligibility: All NEW Adult VTA participants (over 18 years of age) .
