Transitioning to Electronic Keypads
Fri, 24 Apr 2026 00:00
You may have noticed new electronic keypads installed on both our front gate and the clubhouse front door (door nearest the gate, not towards the outside deck).
We are beginning the transition to using these electronic keypads for access, and may eventually retire the current key fobs.
This page explains our plans for the keypads.
Existing key fobs continue to work until further notice
The keypads work independently of the fobs. If you have a fob, they will continue to provide access through the front gate and the clubhouse.
New temporary 9-digit PIN codes for court bookings
When booking a court, you will also see a 9-digit PIN code on the booking confirmation page and email.
These can also be used to enter through the front gate, but will not work for the clubhouse door.
These are only activated for a short period before, during, and after your court booking. They will not work outside these times.
Permanent 4-digit PIN codes for members
Newer members are also starting to receive a 4-digit PIN code (instead of a key fob), and existing members will receive these over time.
These can be used to enter through both the front gate and the front clubhouse door.
These are permanent codes which you can use anytime your membership remains active.
How to use the 4-digit or 9-digit codes
For both these codes, simply enter your code followed by the unlock symbol. You should then hear some short musical beeps and the gate or door can then be unlocked.
You may enter any other digits before your code, with no effect. For example, if you were ensuring the keypad is active before entering your code.
The reason for installing these keypads are two-fold:
1. Our existing fobs have a cost, are easily misplaced, and have a limited supply.
2. The introduction of the keypads will allow the club to open our courts for public (paid) bookings, which we intend to introduce soon.
Please email the committee at [email protected] if you have any comments or questions.
