We are very pleased that we have now completed the upgrade of our court lighting from halogen to LED on all courts.  The front 3 courts were done in early July and we managed to complete the project at the end of September with the upgrade of the back 3 courts.  After many failed grant applications, we managed to get a small grant from Tennis Victoria towards the cost of the upgrade which helped bring the completion date forward.

LED lights not only offer dramatically better lighting conditions for play but also turn on and off instantly unlike the halogen lights which took 15 to 20 minutes to warm up.  We also expect our electricity bill for the courts to be halved!

We continue to offer the free use of lights to our members.  Almost all other clubs charge for the use of lights so this is a great benefit for Willison Park members.
