Read moreThe lack of period-specific hygiene services at the Club was raised with our Committee by two of our young female members, Brooke Walton and Holly Nolan. The Committee confirmed the Club’s related OH&S responsibilities and also noted a related player retention issue, particularly with our young women, who stop playing tennis in their adolescent years, in some cases due to inadequate facilities and services.

Canberra, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart will host major events as players prepare for the 112th Australian Open from 8 - 28 of January.
Read moreOur Development Application has been submitted and is in review. The Federal Grant Agreement milestones have been renegotiated and approved. Final court designs and contracts are now being negotiated. A funding issue relating to additional drainage tank costs is being reviewed and a resolution is being sought. Court construction is likely to commence in Feb/Mar 2025 with completion within three months.

Adele Mewett and Eliza Devic were two of just seven girls to represent the Territory and travel to Darwin to play against the best Australia has to offer. The Weston Creek Tennis Club is extremely proud of this achievement and has rewarded the girls with a $200 payment to offset the cost of their uniform, travel and accommodation.
