Oakleigh Tennis Club enters Junior (under 18) and Senior (adult) teams in Waverley District Tennis Association (WDTA) week-end competitions.

There are 2 WDTA seasons each year - Summer and Winter.

Junior Tennis is played on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Senior tennis is played on Saturday afternoons.

Team Entry Form Deadline

Player entry form emails must be submitted to the club  by  midnight on Sunday, February 26, 2023 .

Late or incomplete entries will NOT be accepted. 

Everyone who applies to play competition tennis must appreciate that it is not always possible for the club to satisfy everyone’s preferences in terms of team placement.

By submitting your team entry request, you agree to play in the team you am placed in, and also agree to follow all instructions and to abide by the rules of Oakleigh Tennis Club and WDTA, and the Laws of Tennis in general.

TEAM ENTRY FEES:

There is a $40.00  fee for each player's team registration, which covers the cost of WDTA team entries and new competition tennis balls each week.

MATCH FIXTURES & LOCATIONS: 

To ensure you have the latest version of the match fixtures and locations, please click on the below link:

Fixtures can change (especially at the start of the season as teams are added or deleted from different sections), so please check your fixtures regularly, especially before the first match.

Clubs sometimes hold matches at different locations (due to court capacity at their home courts), so please refer to the fixtures to ensure you go to the correct match location.

MATCH STARTING TIMES: 

NOTE: All players must be at the courts 15 minutes before match starting times - to allow time for warm-ups and entering team members' names on score sheets.

Saturday Morning Juniors: 8:15am (arrive before 8:00am)

Sunday Morning Juniors: 8:30am (arrive before 8:15am)

Saturday Afternoon Seniors: 1:00pm (arrive before 12:45pm)

ORDER OF PLAY:

All players must play in the order as per the WDTA team lists.
