The Wonga Park Tennis Club joined the Ferntree Gully & District Ladies Wednesday Tennis Association (FTG & DWLTA) in 1976. The FTG & DWLTA currently have 50 affiliated clubs in the eastern suburbs, covering an area as broad as Warrandyte to Wantirna and Emerald to Yarra Glen.

The ladies doubles competition runs on both Wednesday and Thursday, providing an option of playing both days, or only one day per week.

Starting time is 9.30am on both days and the competition only runs during the (state) school term.

Two seasons consisting of 15 home and away matches and a 2 week final series are played each year:

Season 1 - commences early February and concludes early June.

Season 2 – commences mid July and concludes late November.

Wonga Park Tennis Club currently has 6 teams playing across the two days, 4 teams on Wednesday and 2 teams on Thursday.  We have a wide range of teams playing at all levels.

The club welcomes either individual players, or ladies looking to enter a whole team into the competition. Season 1 entries close early November the year before and Season 2 early May.
