The WPTC is one of the largest member based tennis facilities within the Eastern Region.

Established in 1927, it has served the local community and surrounding suburbs with a family friendly environment and is located within the popular local Wonga Park sporting precinct.

We have a total of 8 courts including 1 plexipave, 5 en tout cas and 2 plexi-cushion (the preferred surface for the Australian open).

Our club has around 200 members, of which a significant amount is comprised of family and junior participants.

We promote the great game of tennis within a safe and fun environment and allow everyone access to the sport and participate at all levels.

Our principles are simple:

• To respect our umpires, opponents, teammates, officials and supporters at all times
• To place participation and inclusiveness above winning
• To promote the benefits for the health and well being of participants by playing tennis
 
A dedicated and passionate Committee see their role as providing good goverance and an environment of encouragement, inclusiveness and opportunities for improvement and growth.
