When would I play?

Competition is played on Saturday afternoons starting at 1 pm.

Where would I play?

The competition is home and away with clubs located throughout the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

What formats are offered?

Open Singles/Doubles – minimum of 2, maximum of 4 players in a team in any one week, team plays 2 singles rubbers (best of 3 sets) and a doubles rubber (best of 3 sets).

Mens Doubles – 4 players in a team each week. Summer season each person plays 2 rubbers (best of 3 sets), winter each person plays 1 rubber (best of 3 sets) and 1 set (first to 8 with a margin of 2 games, tiebreak at 7 all).

Mixed Doubles – 4 players, 2 men and 2 ladies, each week. Summer season each person plays 2 rubbers (best of 3 sets), winter each person plays 1 rubber (best of 3 sets) and 1 set (first to 8 with a margin of 2 games, tiebreak at 7 all).

How much does it cost?

All players need to be financial members of the Whites Lane Mulgrave Tennis Club. Competition fees are $35 per season (to contribute to the cost of team entries and balls).
