Junior competitions for boys, girls and mixed teams are held on Saturday & Sunday mornings with a variety of formats including combinations of singles and doubles matches.

Whites Lane plays in the Waverley District Tennis Association junior competition with over 100 local clubs and 700 teams ranging from beginners (D Grade) to advanced players in Presidents Cup. Competitions run in two seasons:

• Summer Season – commencing October each year (the start of the 4th school term) and finishing around the end of March (end of the 1st school term)
• Winter Season – commencing April each year (the start of the 2nd school term) and finishing early to mid September (the end of the 3rd school term)

We work closely with our club coach, Adrian Lombardi, to place juniors being coached at the club into teams when they are ready for competition, and throughout the year there are a number of club organised activities and events that provide juniors with practice for competition.

How much does it cost?

All players need to be financial members of the Whites Lane Mulgrave Tennis Club. Competition fees, payable at the start of each season, are currently $35.00 per junior player (to contribute to the cost of team entries and balls).

All junior players are required to wear the club uniform ($20).
