  • This Competition is open to all Ladies and matches are played at Meadowbank Park & Ryde Tennis Centre (behind Ryde Swimming Centre).
  • Next Competition: 1st Competition in 2021 – commences February 2 & concludes on May 4. 2nd Comp 2021 due to start on May 18.
  • Duration: Usually three competitions are being played during the calendar year; (No play during school holidays or Easter Tuesday) – commencing early February; 2nd Comp starts May, 3rd Comp in September  – at present with 2 Grades, but if more teams register this will change accordingly.
  • Venues: All matches may be played at Meadowbank Park and Ryde Tennis Centre (behind Ryde Swimming Centre).
  • Format: Grade 1: 4 ladies play 4 doubles each. 8 sets in all for entire match. Home teams provide match balls and supplies Tea/Coffee, Cake/Fruit. 20 minutes break for lunch. Highest ranking team will be declared the winner after 12 matches. Grade 2: 7 pairs ladies play 4 doubles each using 2 adjoining courts, with 7 sets played on each court. Highest  ranking 3 pairs will be declared the winners after 12 matches.
  • Match Times: Commence at 9:30am until 1:30/2:30pm approx
  • Membership Fee: $40 full adult membership; Seniors Membership (65+) of $23 and with $11/$6 Membership / Senior Fee where you are a member of another Association and want to play in NWSTA area for the year 01.07.2020 to 30.06.2021.  All members are covered for some injury insurance, via Tennis NSW, plus other benefits.
  • Pool Players\Reserves: New players are welcome to join at anytime during the competition, if you need to leave early, arrangements can be made so you don’t play the last set – $15.00 Registration Fee & Annual Membership Fee apply as above – JUST PHONE STELLA!.
  • WANTED Lady Pool Players: We are looking for pool players and anyone interested in being a pool player or ultimately joining a team or putting in a team – all would be most welcome.
  • Court Hire Fees – Meadowbank Park & Ryde Tennis Centre: The court hire fee applicable, for the 2022 Competitions will be reviewed during the Xmas / School Holiday period and ‘posted’ ready for the commencement of each our 1st. comps.
  • New Teams: we are always looking for more Ladies Tuesday Tennis Teams to join our competition – teams consist of 4 ladies – – you have a partner for the day and play 4 sets against the opposition, 20 minute lunch break – starts at 9.30 am and finishes around 1.30/2.30 pm – sets can be arranged so players can get away on time or earlier.  At the moment, we have two Grades.  All enquires would be welcome, anyone interested in forming a team please contact Stella.
