Next Competition: Autumn 2021 comp starts 10th April.

  • Nomination: to the Player’s Committee, via Brian Appledoorn and invitation by grading
  • Duration: depends upon the number of teams; aiming for 2 rounds
  • Venue: Birchgrove Park Tennis Centre, cnr Louisa Rd & Rose St, Birchgrove
  • Format: is a mixed doubles competition played in 1 grade only, each team consists of 2 mail & 1 female players, each player has 4 sets
  • Match Time: commences at 1:30pm and concludes at 4:30pm
  • Administration: a Players committee meets before each challenge event to arrange teams with the aim of keeping the competition evenly graded
  • Fees: Competition fee is set at the beginning of each competition by the Player’s committee to cover the costs of court hire and any other ancillary fees.  Registration fee with Ryde Balmain Tennis: $13 per player (early bird fee). Membership fee: for the year 1.7.2015 – 30.6.2016.  $35 for adults 19 years & over, $20 for seniors 65+, $22 for juniors up to 18 years of age.
