  • Competitions held during:  'Autumn 2nd Term 2021, 'Winter' - School Term 3 - 2021, ‘Spring’ – School Term 4 -2021, ‘Summer’ – School Term 1, 2022 (There is no play during school holidays). For players up to 17 years of age.
  • Next Competition: ‘Autumn' 2nd Term competition commences: Saturday 1 May 2021 and should conclude by Saturday 19 June 2021.                  
  • Grading/Registration: Meadowbank for next competition refer to Alvin Maple as above. Birchgrove- refer to Kay Rocavert as above.                  
  • Duration: ‘Spring’ & ‘Summer’: 4 team draws (6 rounds followed by Semis & Finals), 6 team draws – 5 rounds followed by Qualifying Semis, Semis & Finals. 8 team draws – 7 rounds followed by Semis & Finals.
  • ‘Winter’ – 4 team draws (16 rounds followed by finals), 6 team draws (15 rounds followed by Semis & Finals),8 team draws (14 rounds followed by Qualifying Semis, Semis & Finals).                   
  • Venues: All matches are usually played at Ryde Tennis Centre and Birchgrove Park Tennis Courts (currently separate competitions are conducted at both centres).
  • Format: 2 players per team; girls or boys – unisex. Each player plays 1 singles & 2 sets of doubles – 4 sets in all for each match. The singles – are first to 6 games, with a tie-breaker at 6 games all and the doubles are best of 8 games.
  • Match Times: Start time for home teams can be either 8:00/10:00am or 10:00/12:00pm, on one court. You have to be available for either time slot.
  • Registration Fee: standard registration fee is $100.
  • The court hire fee applicable, for the 2022 Competitions will be reviewed during the Xmas / School Holiday period and ‘posted’ ready for the commencement of each our 1st. comps. 
  • Nominations close by email no later than Sunday 25th April as we have to get draws etc. ready for the start of comp. on Saturday 1 May.
  • Membership Fee: currently a fee of $25 is required for membership with Tennis NSW which also provides for injury insurance – is now due for ‘New' players for the year 1/7/2020 to 30/6/2021. Please pay fees in aggregate ASAP, but by no later than Friday 30th April.
  • Pool Players / Reserves: New players are welcome to join at any time during each comp.
