Use of Courts – Basic Principle

The basic principle is fair use of the courts, with the most people able to access the courts at high-use times. Our membership list has increased dramatically in the last 3 years, and there is now more pressure on court access, especially on weekends. Courts cannot be booked. Our coach has full rights to courts 1 and 2 during nominated coaching sessions.

Organised Social Tennis is played at the club as follows:

  • Monday: 11:00am – 2:00pm (2 courts)
  • Thursday: 9:30am – 1:00pm (2 courts)
  • Saturday: 10:00am – 3:00pm (2-3 courts)
  • Sunday: 9:30am – 3:00pm (4 courts)

Organised Social Tennis takes precedence over other play during those times IF all courts are in use. Players arriving after Organised Social Tennis times have preference over players who have participated in the Organised play. At other times, players have equal rights to the courts as per our club rules (see below)

 

Conditions of Membership

South Camberwell Tennis Club is affiliated with Tennis Victoria and Tennis Australia, who provide the club with membership management services, including hosting our membership database and renewal system.  By renewing your membership or applying for membership, you also agree to your member information being stored on a database managed by Tennis Australia

Members also are required to comply with the Rules of the Club, published on this website.
