Court resurfacing

Our courts don't last forever - every 7-10 years we need to replace the surfaces of two courts.  We are getting close to the time when we will need to resurface courts 2 and 4.  Like everything these days, this is going to be an expensive job.  As of April 2025, we estimate the cost to be $110,000.  The club committee has been putting money aside for this and we currently have about $30,000 in the bank.

In the past, we have relied on grants from local government to help with major infrastructure costs like this but these grants are becoming ever harder to obtain.  The more money we can contribute, the better our chances of obtaining a grant.  To that end, we have launched a fundraising campaign with the Australian Sports Foundation with an aspirational target of $80,000.  Working with the ASF allows us to offer tax-deductibility for any donations people make to our project.
