STEVE COLLETT MEMORIAL AWARD
The Steve Collett Memorial Award was established by the Collett family in memory of their son and brother Steve who was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2007.  Steve was arguably the most accomplished player Box Hill Tennis Club has ever produced having won the Club’s Championships on 3 occasions, and played “A” Grade Pennant (State Grade).

This award recognises

• Senior members who have graduated through junior ranks and made significant contributions to the Club and
• Junior members by providing sponsorship to promote their continued involvement in the Box Hill Tennis Club.  In addition, promising juniors may be assisted with a financial award to support them in their playing career.

The recipient for 2019 is Hugo Hallliday.

CLUB MEMBER OF THE YEAR
The Club Member of the Year is awarded to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the Club over the past 12 months, either on or off the court.

The recipient for 2019 is Jill Ross.

JUNIOR CLUB MEMBER OF THE YEAR
Awarded to a Junior member for contributions on and off the court including team captain, working bees and support of social functions.  This is an initiative of the Wright family.

The recipient for 2019 is Tim Wilson.
