Night tennis brings a completely different atmosphere to the club. With the courts glowing under the lights and the air cooler and calmer, evening tennis feels fresh, social and full of energy. It is perfect for players who want to unwind after work, enjoy friendly competition or simply love the unique vibe of playing under the stars. Night tennis is one of the club’s most popular formats for a reason.

Night Tennis Format

Night tennis is fast paced, social and always a little unpredictable. Matches are played as six sets of six games, so there is never time to switch off and every game counts.

To keep things interesting, tie breaks kick in at five games all during the season, and at six games all in finals. Just when you think you’ve settled in, the pressure rises and keeps everyone on their toes.

The competition is played as a mixed format, with each team made up of two men and two women. Our team has three men who rotate throughout the matches, which means there is always someone fresh and ready to jump in. Even when not playing, the fifth team member is usually courtside, cheering, encouraging and adding to the atmosphere.

With lights on, racquets swinging and teammates backing each other all the way, night tennis delivers great competition with a relaxed, friendly vibe.
