Drink Bottles and Cans

The Phillip Island Tennis Club has recently started collecting drink bottles and cans that are suitable for the recycling deposit scheme. Money raised will be donated to charity. We have a bin on the decking near the BBQ at the club. For more information on the recycle scheme visit https://cdsvic.org.au/

Recently Finished

Seniors Week/Month Events

The club conducted a social event for all seniors (club members and non-club members) with a Round Robin to celebrate Seniors Week. The event was held from 9am to 12 noon on Sunday 26 October. Whilst the "severe weather" alert may have deterred many from attending, twelve "seniors" showed up, and the weather (mostly) held up so they were able to get a couple of hours of tennis in and enjoy a great morning tea and a game of "cornhole" during a 30 minute "light rain" break.

In addition to this one-off event, for the whole month of October the club welcomed non-members to join our social tennis sessions on Thursday mornings at 9:30am, Thursday afternoons at 1:00pm, and Saturday afternoons at 1:00pm.
