Since the Phillip Island Tennis Club was formed in 1954, the service to the club of several members has been recognised by granting them Life Membership. Sadly a number of these are no longer with us:

G. F. (Snowy) Dixon - Secretary from 1955 to 1979. Coached Saturday morning Juniors from 1955 to 1978. Managed court hire from 1955 to 1976 (No longer with us)

B. W. Walton - Treasurer from 1955 to 1964. One of five delegates from Ventnor Tennis Club that met with the Phillip Island Shire about the new courts in Cowes. Helped on working bees for the new courts and the pavillion (No longer with us)

E. M. Noonan - Secretary in 1982. Junior Supervisor from 1978 to 1996. (No longer with us)

F. J. Fenton - President from 1975 to 1976. Vice President of Westernport Tennis Association 1965, 1966, 1969 (President in 1967) (No longer with us)

L. A. Dixon - Treasurer from 1971 to 1979. Managed court bookings from 1955 to 1976. (No longer with us)

L. J. Hopkins - Treasurer and looked after memberships from 1986 to 1994. Organised trips to Australian Open until 1998 

N. J. Mitchell - President 1977 and 1978. Treasurer and looked after memberships from 1981 to 1985.

B. Malloy - Committee member since 1990. Organised Thursday Ladies tennis since 1982. Organised Australian Open tickets and bus trips since 1998.

B. Niven - Junior Supervisor from 1978 to 2000. Won Australian Government Sport Achievement Award in 2015

B. Botten - Junior Convenor and Club Maintenance activities for ten years. Bass Coast Sportsman of the Year in 2013 (No longer with us)
