COMPETITIVE PLAYER PROFILE

From the 1st of September 2023 all players playing in tennis competitions across Australia will require a Competitive Player Profile (CPP).  It requires the player to create a Match Centre profile , create a Universal Tennis account and link them together.  It is a very easy process.  Use this link to guide you through the step by step process https://support.tennis.com.au/articles/tennis-id-registration-utr-rating-activation/.   If you encounter any issues please contact us via email.

 

MONDAY LADIES

Run by the Broadford District Ladies Tennis Association, this has a unique format to ensure everybody gets a hit. It is run year round and they are always keen to welcome players.  So if you’re interested, please contact Maree Spear 0411 487 937.

 

TUESDAY LADIES

Run by the Mountain District Ladies Tennis Association, the Tuesday Ladies Competition sees teams from Section 1 to Section 4 travel to Gisborne, Sunbury, Woodend, Kyneton, Romsey & Lancefield, with play commencing at at 10.00am.

MDTA NIGHT MIXED – Tuesday and Thursday  

The Tuesday and Thursday night competitions starting from 7:30pm and are open to both men and women of varying standards.  Tuesday nights consists of double play only.  Thursday night consists of 2 x Singles sets and 1 x double set.

SATURDAY MORNING JUNIORS

This competition is run all year round with a winter and summer competition run by the Broadford & District Junior Tennis Association. Play commences at 9.00am, with Sections 1 through to 4, catered for. Clubs include Wallan, Wandong, Broadford, HIdden Valley, and Kilmore. If you’d like to get involved, please contact Justin Hutchinson on 0417 983 476.

 

MDTA SATURDAY AFTERNOON SENIORS

PENNANT - TENNIS VICTORIA

Kilmore Tennis Club is proud to be fielding teams in what is arguably the best team competition in the southern hemisphere.  As a result local players and players from other nearby regional areas no longer have to  find a Melbourne club to be their home club but instead can play for Kilmore having their home games much closer to where they live. 

The Tennis Victoria Pennant Competition is played on a Saturdays and is a team competetion.  The competition is open to all players both junior and senior. Players are graded according to their standard (UTR ranking) and previous tennis history. Usually the format consists of a doubles and a singles componenet. The Tennis Victoria Pennant Competition is played over 14 weeks, with eight teams per section and up to four sections per grade. 

Suited to more advanced players, this is the highest level of tennis offered at the Kilmore Tennis Club. If you are interested please contact our pennant secretary Duncan Salter our President on 0409 535 495.
