Hi Kew Tennis Club members and guests.

We would like to introduce ourselves to this fantastic club.

Shane and I are both super excited to be appointed the new Head Coaches for Kew Tennis Club.

We are both passionate about tennis coaching with a combined 50 years of experience in coaching, business management, club and centre development.

We both possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, which are invaluable when teaching students and interacting with club members.

As the Club Head Coaches, we envisage ourselves as the “Face” of Kew Tennis Club.

Our goal is to be part of a positive club culture where players want to learn and play and to build relationships with current and prospective members.

Our on court coaching is our strength and passion, we have both had senior roles at the Boroondara Tennis Centre, Shane was the Academy Head Coach and I was the Programs Manager. Previously I was a Senior Head Coach and Hot Shots Coordinator at Tennis World (Melbourne Park), I was also responsible for writing Hot Shots lesson plans which were used nationally.

Shane has coached and worked with several Top 100 ATP world ranked athletes, this includes during Tour events in Australia and overseas and at the Australian Open. Shane has also coached and developed junior athletes that are now involved in the National Academy with Tennis Australia.

We look forward to meeting all members and players on and off the court.
