Peak Tennis Academy at Kew Tennis Club is headed up by professional coach Shane Farnell and supported by his highly qualified coaching team.

Shane is a fully qualified Tennis Australia Coach Member with over 20 + years of coaching experience.  Shane has a diverse background having coached Hot Shot students learning the sport for the first time, through to professional world ranked players competing at ATP tour events and Grand Slam events. 

Prior to Kew Tennis Club, Shane was an integral part of the Boroondara Tennis Centre where he was Academy Head Coach and Junior Competitions Co-coordinator. His coaching philosophy is to develop sound technique which he believes is the building block to a solid foundation.  His goal is to make lessons fun and enjoyable, whilst supporting students to reach their individual goals.
