Tomas is an experienced tennis coach with 20 years of coaching experience
across Australia and Slovakia, including work with Tennis Australia in the Hot
Shots, Talent Development, and Coach Education departments.

Over the past seven years, Tomas has been based in Ballarat at the Ballarat
Regional Tennis Centre, where he significantly increased junior player participation
— from Hot Shots to Talent Development. He created and implemented a
comprehensive player pathway, guiding talent from early stages to national-level
using the latest coaching methods, all based on “learning through play”
philosophy.

Before relocating to Victoria and establishing his own tennis academy, Tomas
worked as a Head Coach and Manager of the Junior Elite Program at the Kim
Warwick Tennis Academy (KWTA) in Sydney. In this role, he developed and
delivered talent development programs and a clear pathway from Hot Shots to
high performance for players aged 4 to 15. His focus on game-based coaching
and competitive play helped drive strong engagement and consistent progress.

As a result, the program was recognised by Tennis Australia as one of the top 10
junior programs in NSW, with many players competing at state and national levels,
and receiving scholarships at prestigious U.S. colleges such as UCLA, NYU Stern,
and Harvard.
