PEEA – Positive Energy Enabling Abilities & NDIS-Fundable Coaching
At Bribie Tennis Academy, we believe every individual should have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of tennis—regardless of their ability, diagnosis, or support needs. Our PEEA program (Positive Energy Enabling Abilities) is specifically designed to provide safe, structured, and empowering coaching sessions for players with disability, neurodiversity, or additional support requirements.
Delivered by experienced and accredited coaches, our lessons support more than just sporting development—they contribute to physical wellbeing, confidence, independence, and social engagement. For many families, tennis becomes a powerful tool to help achieve goals set out in a participant’s NDIS plan—and we’re proud to support that journey.
โ๏ธ Is Tennis Coaching NDIS Fundable?
Yes—many of our PEEA sessions are eligible for funding through the NDIS, depending on the participant’s goals. Tennis can be funded under several categories:
1. Core Supports – Assistance with Social & Community Participation
If the NDIS plan includes goals like building confidence, staying active, engaging with the community, or improving social interaction, tennis may be included under this category.
2. Capacity Building – Increased Social & Community Participation
This applies when tennis is used to support independence, build confidence, develop motor skills, or take part in structured physical activities.
3. Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living or Health & Wellbeing
Participants working on physical coordination, routine-following, or personal development can use these categories to access sport as part of a goal-driven routine.
