At Bribie Tennis Academy, we believe in more than just teaching tennis—we're building confidence, coordination, and character from the very first swing. Our junior coaching pathway is designed to give every child the opportunity to thrive, whether they’re picking up a racquet for the first time, chasing competitive goals, or learning in a way that suits their individual needs. We proudly deliver the nationally endorsed Tennis Australia Hot Shots program, structured into age-appropriate stages using modified racquets, balls, and courts to match each child’s development. Led by our accredited, passionate coaches, every session is fun, dynamic, and full of purpose—designed to nurture confidence, motor skills, and friendships along the way.
For our youngest players, the Blue Stage (ages 3–5+) introduces the fundamentals of movement through imagination, creativity, and play, with a focus on listening, cooperation, and communication. In the Red Stage (ages 5–8+), children begin developing key tennis skills, rallying, and strategy, with an emphasis on fair play, persistence, and teamwork. The Orange Stage (ages 8–10+) builds on this foundation, progressing into more advanced skills, game-play strategies, and matchplay, while fostering resilience and respectful relationships. The Green Stage (ages 10+) refines technique and decision-making, encourages leadership and empathy, and prepares players for full-court tennis and competition. Each stage is designed to ensure that players are challenged, engaged, and supported as they grow.
For juniors showing strong potential or interest in competitive tennis, our High Performance Stream offers a structured pathway from advanced Hot Shots stages into local and regional tournaments, private coaching, and performance training. Players are introduced to match preparation, tactical planning, fitness development, and mental skills suited to their level. We guide families through tournament entry processes, player rankings, and competition schedules—providing the right balance of pressure and play to help aspiring athletes thrive. Our goal is to build technically sound, mentally strong, and coachable players who can represent the academy at a high level and enjoy the process.
In addition, we proudly offer our No Limits Girls Squads, designed to empower young female athletes in a supportive, all-girls environment. These squads focus on building self-belief, strong foundations, and team culture while encouraging progression into high-performance coaching and tournament opportunities. Our aim is to inspire girls to stay in sport, feel confident in their development, and see real pathways to success on and off the court.
What truly sets us apart is our inclusive commitment to the PEEA model – Positive Energy Enabling Abilities. Through this approach, we create a safe, empowering space for players living with disability, neurodiversity, or additional support needs. As proud partners of Special Olympics Australia (SOA), we deliver adaptive coaching and clear progression pathways for PEEA athletes, starting with fun-based learning and advancing toward SOA-sanctioned events. We support our players in preparing for local inclusion events, with opportunities to be selected for state, national, and international SOA teams. Our coaches understand the structure of these programs and work closely with families, carers, and support staff to ensure players are confident, well-prepared, and celebrated every step of the way.
With over 200 students coached weekly across Bribie and the Moreton Bay Region, Bribie Tennis Academy is the trusted choice for families who want a tennis experience that grows with their child—powered by positive energy, expert guidance, and a genuine passion for inclusion, achievement, and lifelong love of the game. We provide racquets for trial players, so all your child needs to bring is comfortable sportswear, runners, a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
