Hot Shots

At Bribie Tennis Academy, we don’t just teach tennis—we create a fun, nurturing space where children grow in confidence, coordination, and character. That journey starts with our Hot Shots program, which is the foundation of our junior development pathway. Delivered by our passionate, Tennis Australia-qualified coaches, Hot Shots introduces children to tennis through movement, play, creativity, and skill-building, all tailored to their stage of development.

Our Hot Shots stages use smaller courts, lighter racquets, and low-compression balls to ensure every child experiences early success, builds confidence, and develops a love for the game in a safe and supportive environment.

In the Blue Stage (ages 3–5+), children explore movement, balance, and coordination through imaginative, play-based activities. They learn to listen, communicate, and cooperate—laying the foundation for sport and life.

In the Red Stage (ages 5–8+), we introduce core tennis skills like rallying and striking, while teaching values like persistence, fair play, and teamwork. Sessions are game-based and social, so learning always feels like fun.

In the Orange Stage (ages 8–10+), players progress to longer rallies, basic tactics, and matchplay, while continuing to grow in resilience, focus, and sportsmanship.

By the Green Stage (ages 10+), children are playing on full-size courts and working on advanced stroke development, problem-solving, and match strategies. They’re encouraged to take leadership in their learning, show empathy on court, and prepare for competitive play.

At every level, Hot Shots at Bribie Tennis Academy is about more than tennis—it’s about belonging, growth, and unlocking potential. Whether your child is picking up a racquet for the first time or working toward tournament goals, we provide the coaching, care, and pathway to help them thrive.
