Given the increasing numbers of coronavirus (COVID-19) in particular locations and the heightened risk of transmission, Stage 3 Stay at Home restrictions will be applied to impacted areas. From 11:59pm on Wednesday 1 July 2020, postcodes linked to these outbreaks will go into local lockdown. For now, that includes the following: 3038, 3064, 3047, 3060, 3012, 3032, 3055, 3042, 3021, 3046. These postcodes will be required to return to Stage 3 Stay at Home restrictions. For further details see link

At this stage, no community sport activities can continue in those postcodes, and residents in these postcodes are not permitted to travel outside their postcodes for the purposes of sport. Please ensure this message is communicated to all club members. While none of these postcodes are in Boroondara, weunderstand clubs may have players, coaches and volunteers who live in the postcodes linked to these outbreaks.

This is also a good opportunity to remind all clubs who have ‘returned to play’ to ensure they are strictly adhering to their approved ‘COVID-19 Safe Plan’.
