YGTC participates in the Lilydale & District Night Tennis Association (L&DNTA).    Whilst players are not required to be a member of our club to play in this competition, we encourage them to take out a Night Tennis Membership which allows access to the courts at other times.     There is a weekly fee of $10 to participate in this competition which covers the cost of lighting, tennis balls etc.     

L&DNTA is an inter club competition with teams playing an equal number of home and away matches. All match venues are located in the outer eastern suburbs. The Association provides the following Competitions:-

• Monday – Ladies Competition – Doubles
• Tuesday – Men’s Competition – Doubles
• Wednesday – Mixed Competition – Doubles
• Thursday – Open (Either Mens or Ladies) – Doubles
• Thursday – Open Competition – Singles/Doubles

There are three seasons of 10 home and away matches plus finals each year.

Season 1 – February to May (registration October)
Season 2 – May to August (registration March)
Season 3 – August to November (registration June)

Matches commence at 7:15 pm and must be completed by 11:00 PM.
