YGTC participates in the Eastern Region Tennis Association (ERT) which runs both Saturday and Sunday morning competitions.   ERT is an inter club competition for players aged 18 and under.   Players are required to be a member of our club and are graded into teams according to their ability rather than their age.

Competition runs all year over two seasons in conjunction with school terms:
Summer Season  – October to March (registration August)
Winter Season  – April to September (registration February)

Players can elect to play Competition on either Saturday or Sunday mornings (or both), with a range of formats available including Rubbers;  Sets; Singles; Doubles; Boys, Girls or Mixed; and Junior Development Teams (players under 12 using modified equipment).

Matches commence at 8:30 and generally finish between 11:00 and 12:00 noon.    Teams play an equal number of home and away matches, with all match venues located in the eastern suburbs.
