Currently the WRTA participates in a 10 week team competition which is run by Tennis Victoria for junior players.

This competition offers the higher-ranked and better-skilled players to participate in teams, based on age and gender. 

The competition runs from August to November. 

Correspondence regarding competition details and entries - is sent out to clubs in June. Past players are also notified. 

The teams will play against other teams from other tennis regions, throughout the metropolitan areas of Melbourne (and sometimes even further!).

The WRTA Junior Committee select teams of 4 players based on the current performances in the regular WRTA Junior Competition.
