Junior Tennis is divided into a summer (Term 4 and Term 1 of the following year) and winter (Term's 2&3) season run by Tennis Geelong. No games are held on public holiday long weekends nor the middle week of school holidays. 

Games are played on a Saturday morning in a traditional home & away format. Starting times vary between 8.00am and 10.00am each week.

Competitions are divided into Premier, Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Green Ball and Orange Ball. It is noted Orange Ball is not necessarily available each season. All divisions apart from Orange Ball play finals. 

Junior Boys and Girls and Green Ball teams consist of a minimum of 4 players, with x4 single matches and x2 double matches each week.  Competition rules vary between the divisions - please see Premier and Green Ball tabs for further details.  

Section 1 Boys and Girls competitions play a tie-break at 6 games all.

All other Sections play a tie-break at 5 games all.
