Tennis Geelong created a Premier Junior Competition in Summer 2023/24 for children who wished to play at a higher level.

The format is different with teams consisting of:

• minimum 2 players
• Players play in order of merit (UTR ranking)
• Single sets are "best of 3 format" with the first 2 sets being normal and IF required the third set is played as 10 point tie-break
• There is x1 doubles set played to 8 games with a normal tie-break if required at 8 games all

Team entry for Premier League closes 1-2 weeks before the regular junior team entry permitting Tennis Geelong to notify clubs of unsuccessful applications so we can arrange entry into the regular junior competition.
