Tennis Court Hire
Tennis courts are available for hire at a rate of $20 per hour, per court (non-members). Tennis court lighting is available for an additional $10 per hour, per court (members & non-members).
To arrange a booking, please email the UBTC Secretary at [email protected] in advance. Please allow time for your booking to be confirmed, as this is not an instant process.
*Please note: Non-members are encouraged to use the synthetic grass court when hiring.
En tout cas court care
To help preserve the courts and keep the playing surface at a high standard please comply with the following rules:
- Do not use courts when they are too wet. If courts are slippery play is not allowed.
- If courts are flooded, allow up to an hour (after rain has stopped) for courts to drain before mopping up puddles.
- Watering of the courts is integral to maintain their high quality. The Club has invested heavily into water tanks and a bore water system in order to be self-sufficient when it comes to court watering. En tout cas courts need to be watered regularly, particularly in Summer, but it is also important at other times of the year. Over or under watering can damage the courts. If you have any questions on this important issue, please discuss with a committee member.
- Bag courts after each set fence line to fence line (do not run).
- Correct footwear must be worn when playing on porous courts (see Clubhouse posters).
- Deliberate or unnecessary skidding on courts is prohibited.
