Welcome to the Toowoomba Tennis Association, and the wonderful world of tennis in the Garden City!
The Darling Downs Lawn Tennis Association (DDLTA) was formed in 1898 and was established to organise the tennis fixtures across the area. In 1973 the association changes its name to the Toowoomba Tennis Association (TTA) to better reflect the area that it was organising fixtures in.
The James Street Tennis Centre was constructed and opened by the DDLTA in 1929 and continues to be the home of the Toowoomba Tennis Association.
Toowoomba Tennis Association is an independent club and centre. We are incorporated as an association, affiliated with Tennis Queensland and we are part of Tennis Queensland’s South Region.
The James Street tennis centre is conveniently located in the heart of the city, at the corner of James Street and Water Street South, Toowoomba.
