Club History

This is based on a book written by Geoff Swartz in 2005 "25th Anniversary Tewantin Tennis Club, 1980-2005".

The first Tewantin Tennis Club was established near the present Harbourtown in the 1920s.  Due to flood damage the original clay court  was soon cemented.  Later in the 1960s the court was removed due to Council development in the harbour area and relocated to Noosaville. Play then moved to the Tewantin State Primary School with the Club reforming on the new lease of land at the Noosa Sports Complex site.

Today the Tewantin Tennis Club is a thriving sporting venue attracting widespread membership.
