Our tennis club is affiliated to Tennis Australia and Tennis Tasmania and has been in operation for over 50 years. Our courts lie in a multi-sports area which includes a swimming pool, a golf course and a bowls club and is situated just a five minute drive from the Launceston City Centre along the West Tamar Highway.
The club has four floodlit artificial grass courts in excellent condition and a well appointed clubhouse with full showering and toilet facilities together with a comprehensive kitchen.
Riverside TC members get free court usage, inter club pennant participation, access to RTC events, weekly group social play, and more.
We pride ourselves on having a weekly social play timeslot offering year round social play and social interaction to our members regardless of their age or ability. There is an organised social play time slot of some variety every day of the week at RTC, allowing members who aren't able to arrange their own group, to come along solo and have fellow members to play with and against and have a coffee and a chat with in between sets!
