Schofield’s Tennis School is very proud of the ability, quality and experience of their coaching team.

Members of the Team are:

John Schofield:

John has had international tennis coaching experience and many years playing at a top level throughout NSW starting way back when John represented NSWPSAA in the State Carnival.

Kathy Schofield:

Another young starter. Kathy represented NSWPSAA and NSCWCHS on more than one occasion. During this period Kathy established herself as one of the top ranked juniors in NSW that led to international tournament play in Europe. She also established herself as one of the leading women In the Northumberland District representing Newcastle on numerous occasions.

Belinda Nordsvan:

Belinda has been a coach with Schofields Tennis Schools for over 15 years. She brings a wealth of experience including being a former State ranked junior and competing in the USA on a Tennis Scholarship.

Paul Comerford:

A product of the Redhead Junior Tennis Coaching Program Paul’s playability is without question.

A RTC Men’s Singles and Doubles Champion on numerous occasions, Paul as played top level tennis throughout the Hunter Region for a number of years.

Paul has been a coach at Schofield’s Tennis School for over 16 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience after working in other coaching programs.

Tom Buckner:

Another product of our coaching program, Tom has been a member of our coaching team for over 6 years. A Hunter Region CHS representative in his high School days Tom’s aim to produce fun and productive lessons for all his classes.

Hayley McAllister:

Pleased to say Hayley is another of our tennis programs products. As a Junior Hayley represented Hunter Region CHS for 2 successive years. As a coach, of over 5 years’ experience, Hayley develops a great rapport with her classes.

Sophie Russell:

Has been playing tennis with us for over 10 years and has developed into a very handy player.

She has been coaching at our Holiday Clinics for 3 years, bring energy and enthusiasm to her court with great success.
