Our Thursday Morning Ladies Social tennis welcomes anyone, no matter  their standard of play, from 9.30am. They are able to play as long or as little as they wish. At the end of play we have a cuppa, biscuit and chat.

Mixed Round Robin Tournament

On 22 February we changed things up and organised a Mixed Double Round Robin. With a hot day forecast, play started at 8:15am and 24 players enjoyed a great day of doubles (mostly mixed), with rotating partners, 6 and 4 games/sets with sudden death deuce.

The round robin was well supported by the Thursday Men's social group and organisers Alison Fitzgerald and Mandy Walker were well supported by many who helped prepare the courts, set up the clubroom, manage the food, purchase ice (for club esky's used on the courts), and clean up afterwards. It was a chance for a lot of members to meet, and play with other members , and everyone had a great time - despite the warm weather and the wind that blew up late in the morning.

New Scoreboards

We are most fortunate to have received four new scoreboards, donated to the Club by  member Hannah Jensen and her partner Julian Jones. These scoreboards are hanging inside the clubhouse and can be taken out and hung on the fence, or on the umpires chair. Please return them to the clubhouse when you have finished using them.
