Member Protection
The Phillip Island Tennis Club will not tolerate any act of abuse, neglect, harassment, bullying, unlawful discrimination, vilification, victimisation, indecency or violence against any adult or child at our club. In addition to our own policies, the club has adopted Tennis Australia's Member Protection Policy and Safeguarding Children Code of Conduct. Copies of these documents are available on this website under the "More" and "Club Policy" tabs. All of our committee members hold a current Working With Children certificate.
Any incident should be immediately reported to the club President.
Drink Bottles and Cans
The Phillip Island Tennis Club has recently started collecting drink bottles and cans that are suitable for the recycling deposit scheme. Money raised will be donated to cahrity. We have a bin on the decking near the BBQ at the club. For more information on the recycle scheme visit https://cdsvic.org.au/

Some 70th Anniversary caps are still availabel for purchase at the clubhouse. Cost is just $20. Speak to one of your committee members to arrange purchase.
Coming Up
Tuesday Night Spring Men's Competition
The Phillip Island Tuesday Night Spring Men's Competition will commence on 2 September and run until 9 December. Matches are played from 6:30pm (with warm up at 6:00pm). Until then, social tennis is available to all members from 6:00pm on Tuesday nights.
Mid-Week Ladies Competition
The 2025/26 "Super Season" competition will commence on 7 October and run until June 2026. Matches are played at Phillip Island and other particpating clubs on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am. Ladies social tennis will continue at that time at Phillip Island until the season starts.
Seniors Week/Month Events
The club is planning a social event with a Round Robin to celebrate Seniors Week. The event will be held on Sunday 26 October - put it in your diary and watch out for further information as the time draws near.
In addition to this one-off event, for the whole month of October the club will welcome non-members to join our social tennis sessions on Thursday mornings at 9:30am, Thursday afternoons at 1:00pm, and Staurdays afternoons at 1:00pm.

Recently Finished
Junior Winter Competition
Seven teams represented the Philip Island Tennis Club in the 2025 Junior winter competition. Section 1, 3 (two teams) and 5 played finals and Section 3 (Phillip Island White) and Section 5 were runner's up in their division.
Congratulations to all our Juniors who played this season - we are very proud of you all.
Mid Week Ladiers Competition
The Section 2 Phillip Island team in the South Gippsland Mid Week Ladies Tennis Association concluded their Super Season at Inverloch on Tuesday, 24th June.
The 2025/26 "Super Season" competition will commence on 2 October and run until June 2026. Matches are played at Phillip Island and other particpating clubs on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am.
Social Tennis will now be played on Tuesday mornings as well as Thursdays, starting at 9.30am until the next Comp commences.
Coaching sessions continue to provide opportunities fror members to develop their game. For more information, see under the "Member Tennis" and "Coaching" tabs above.
Men's Tuesday Night Autumn Season
The 2025 Autumn Season wrapped up on 6 May (see under "Member Tennis", "Tuesday Night" for details). Contact Rod via rasandas@hotmail.com if you wish to join as a fill-in, or as a regular player for the Spring Season (commencing 2 September).
