North Balwyn Tennis Club is proud to announce that we have been recognised as a finalist for the “Innovation Club of the Year” in the 2025 Boroondara Sports Awards.

This award celebrates sporting clubs that have introduced new or different programs, events, or projects to enhance the experience for members and attract new participants. Our nomination reflects the club’s commitment to thinking creatively and exploring fresh ways to engage our community - both on and off the court.

Over the past year, NBTC has embraced innovative approaches to tennis participation, community connection, and member engagement, creating opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in the sport. From expanding our social and competitive offerings to trialling fresh event formats, we’ve focused on delivering experiences that are welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone.

Being named a finalist is a testament to the hard work of our volunteers and members, whose enthusiasm and ideas continue to drive the club forward. We congratulate all other club finalists and thank the City of Boroondara for recognising our efforts.
