We are proud to share that our club has received grant funding through the Vic Kids Eat Well initiative, a Victoria-wide movement that supports healthier food and drink options for children and young people where they learn, play and stay active.
Thanks to this funding, we will be providing fresh fruit at our weekend morning junior competitions. This will give our young players easy access to nutritious snacks that help fuel their performance, support recovery and build healthy habits for life.
As a club, we strongly encourage our juniors to choose fresh fruit along with healthier snacks and drinks. Small changes can make a big difference, and together we can help our young athletes stay energised, focused and ready to enjoy their sport.
We would also like to thank healthAbility for supporting us through this grant and helping make this initiative possible. Their support enables us to create a healthier environment for our junior players and families.
We look forward to seeing our juniors enjoy some fresh fruit at competition each weekend and continuing to build a positive, healthy club culture.
