Metro Masters Tennis Association

This unique competition is the only Tennis Victoria affiliated competition open to men and women for players over 50 years of age in the Melbourne Metropolitan area. played on Thursday afternoons. 

The geographic area of this competition covers mainly the north eastern region and currently ranges from Norris Bank (Bundoora) in the west to East Croydon-Kilsyth in the east with over 19 clubs providing currently 38 teams.
Tennis Clubs close to the city include Clifton Hill,  Fitzroy and Royal Park.

The competition has been going since 1985 for 40 years and has a reputation for being one of the friendliest and best of the veteran's competitions around - it is bigger than Tennis Victoria's own veteran's competitions (varying age groups).

Any new clubs can enter the competition by applying to the Record Secretary prior to the Autumn and Spring seasons commencing - currently the Team Entry Fee is $40.00 per team (no affiliation fees) although this may change depending on inflation etc.       Generally speaking any new club should reside with the current geographic zone, however if your tennis club is just outside these zones it would be considered by the Committee.         The other alternative would be to hire courts from clubs already playing in our competition.     Team entries together with Fixtures, Results and Ladders are accessed via the TROLS (Tennis Results On Line) website on the link  www.trols.org.au/metro/
