Membership is open to all ages and standards of players. Legana Tennis Club is committed to providing playing and development opportunities for all members. Any suggestions for the improvement of the club are warmly welcomed!

Full Members:

• Are welcome to use the courts at any time, except when all courts are in use for an organised club activity such as pennant competitions, championships or coaching;
• May have a key to access the courts;
• May participate in any organised club events such as the Club Championships, and club and inter-club pennants competitions;
• May participate in any casual play.

Guest Players:

• Are welcome at social tennis events and can also play with a full member with access to the club. However, guest players can only play 4 times before they need to join the club. On each visit, the guest player must record their name in our player register located in the clubhouse. (This is to manage our insurance obligations.)

This club website provides members with information on upcoming events at the club. We also keep in touch with our members by email and social media, like facebook.

All members are required to respect others and the club facilities and agree to observe club policies.

Membership Fees and Costs

The membership year runs from 1st September – 31st August.

Full Memberships:

Adult Single: $100*

Family: $200*
Family membership includes all children under 18.

Student: $50 if under 18 ($60 if 18 or over)*

Key: $30 (refundable deposit). All keys remain the property of the club and must be returned if your full membership ceases.

Court lighting: $6 per hour.

Ball fees for organised events: $3 to cover lighting. New balls will be provided by committee members at their discretion.

If you are applying to join the club for the first time, the membership fee will be in proportion to the remaining months in the membership year. To calculate this, multiply the full fee by x/12, where x is the number of remaining months, including the current month. For example, if you apply to join in January, the fees are:

Adult Single = $100 x 8/12 = $67 (rounded up to the nearest dollar)

Family: $200 x 8/12 = $134 (rounded up to the nearest dollar)

Guest Players:

$5 each time you play at a social tennis event.
