Small Court Tennis
at Lake Cathie
Small Court Tennis is played on our existing synthetic grass courts.
It is ideal for beginners, older players and more experienced players.
Older players with limited mobility will find this modified tennis game extends their capability and enjoyment of the game we love.
The reduced court size, underarm action and low compression balls make for regular lengthy rallies.
Cost is $4 per person. Regular participants will need to join our Club.
Small Court Tennis is run on Mondays from 8.30am – 10.00am
Basic Rules:
- Generally, tennis rules apply but played on a smaller section of the court (in the service areas - Click on "Diagram" above).
- Serve only to the back half of the service areas and play underarm.
- Use your existing tennis racquet, or one from the Club, and a supplied low compression ball.
- No volleys in the kitchen (front area – kitchen- green).
- Have fun.
