Washouts can only be called on the morning of the match. If it is obviously raining, with continued rain indicated on the radar and the courts unplayable, the home team manager must declare a washout, with agreement from the away team, no more than one hour before the match starts. If there is any doubt, both teams should arrive and make a decision 30 minutes after the scheduled start time
