Dear Members,

Thank you for being part of the Knox City Tennis Club community.

You may recall that at our 2024 Annual General Meeting, we discussed a review conducted by committee on
membership rates and ratified the revised fees for 2025-2026.

These new membership rates reflect cost increases in utilities, insurance & affiliation fees, grant expenditure & 
capital works. Our revised fee structure enables the club to meet its ongoing financial obligations and ensures the 
financial stability of club finances. The revised fee structure comes into effect as of today (1st July 2025).


A new Maintenance Levy applies across Adult, Junior & Family membership categories. The levy can either be:

1. Redeemed as a gift card, by joining two (of the four) working bees at the club in this membership year, or

2. Contributed into the clubs operating account, which in turn allows expenditure towards landscaping, 
court dressing & maintenance (en tout cas) & trade services - as may be required from time to time.


Committee understands that not everyone can attend working bees due to other commitments. We have aimed to implement a system that balances maintenance requirements, volunteer contribution and resource management with overall affordability and value for all of our clubs’ members.

The club continues to invest in upgrades and improvements, with our headline lighting project a major milestone in our strategic roadmap. The Hawkeye LED installation across courts 1–6 has equipped the club with an Australian lighting system that exceeds modern tennis-specific lighting standards and significantly improves player comfort. 

The club has also erected our second shade sail between court 3 & 6 which completes our shade sail project. New on court drinking taps were recently installed and court lines and rain water rollers have also seen improvements.
