The popular in-house comp at Knox City Tennis Club for the winter off-season is back.

Commencing on Tuesday June 10th and Thursday, June 12th. The program runs for 6 to 8 weeks and finishes on the 15th and 24th of July before the BDNTA competition begins.

You can enter either the Tuesday or Thursday doubles comp or both, depending on your schedule and preference.

The doubles nights start from 7.15 pm to around 9.30 pm or when three sets are played.
The cost of evening tennis is just $6, which includes new balls and our brand new lights.

All players will be graded into a "comp" of similar ability.
In doubles, each pair plays each other pair in an 8-game set. That is a set where each player has two service games.

You can bring your Partner (from your BDNTA Team or Friends from another Club). If you or your Partner is unavailable to play any week, you can nominate your BDNTA team members to fill in.
The winner is the pair who wins the most games over the weeks.
You can nominate to play even if you are not available every week. When you cannot play, a suitable substitute will be found.

While this is called a 'comp,' it's more than that. It's a cross between comp and social tennis, a chance to connect with others and enjoy the game. It is 'social with a purpose!' It's an excellent opportunity to get a taste of competitive tennis or to keep your skills sharp during the off-season. All ages and levels of ability are welcome.
