Hobart Out Tennis Tournament 2024

Registration for the Hobart Out Tennis Tournament 2024 is now open! The tournament will be on from Friday 12 Jan to Sunday 14 Jan 2024. Our tournament is part of the GLTA (Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance) World Tour where EVERYONE is welcome to play. We are again playing together with Hobart International WTA and every player will receive tickets to watch semi-finals and finals of the Hobart International WTA.

The tournament includes singles and doubles competition over 5 divisions (Open, A, B, C and D) to cater for all levels of play. In addition, we also have women’s singles and 45+ doubles competition. You can play a maximum of 2 events. Competition will be played on Plexicushion, Synthetic Grass and Synthetic Clay. Players need to be 18 years old and above to play.

The cost is $85 for 1 event and $105 for 2 events. Registration can be done using the link above, and closes midnight Friday 5 January 2024 unless sold out prior as draw sizes are limited! Register ASAP to not miss out.

For new players, you will need to create a profile before registering for the tournament. If you played in the previous editions of the tournament, you would already have a profile and only need to log in before you can register.

Hobart Out Tennis Committee 2023-24

The 2023 HOT Tournament was our 7th annual tournament, with 77 players (local, interstate and international) playing across 3 days on 12-14 January at Domain. We once again played alongside Hobart International WTA, which was not held in 2021 and 2022. There were 11 events and all winners received our unique Tasmanian Huon Pine plaque. Congratulations to all players! Check out our Honour Roll page for current past winners for all our tournaments. 

We'd also like to thank all supporters who turned up during tournament. The buzz was palpable!
